Bass Harbor (formerly McKinley) is a well-protected natural harbor connected to Tremont, Maine near Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island in Maine. It ranks as one of the most lucrative lobster producing ports in the state. Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse lies at the mouth of the harbor, and there is a ferry going to Swans Island.
